Membership Application

Interested in the labels? Submit a membership application, and the network coordinator will contact you.

The "Produced in Kainuu" label can be awarded to a food product or a processed natural product if at least 30% of its content originates from Kainuu, with the remaining 70% consisting of domestic raw materials. The network's current membership fee is € 75 per year (excl. VAT). You can apply for network membership using the attached application form. Membership is established through a written agreement between the network and the member.

You can apply for the "Produced in Kainuu Service" label if the service is based on the values of the "Produced in Kainuu" network: local focus, responsibility, community spirit, and cooperation. The service label is being developed as part of the Serigo project; therefore, no membership fee is charged during the project's implementation period (2026–2027). Applications for the service label are also accepted from light entrepreneurs or other small-scale operations, such as association fundraising activities.
