As part of the international SERIGO project, we are implementing a pilot in Eastern Finland aimed at fostering a fulfilling life and active participation for rural women and their associations. This initiative which includes an accessible advisory and training program focused on the use of wild herbs, digital skills, well-being and community building, and the promotion of women's entrepreneurship is supported by the creation of the kainuussatuotettu.fi website. This fosters business collaboration and networking while providing support for digital marketing. Additionally, we developed a new "Produced in Kainuu" service label for rural businesses and associations.
The project runs until the end of 2027, but the practical pilot activities will be completed by the end of October 2026.
